    Instructor Bios

Kristin Swing - Owner/Director

 

Kristin started her dance training at the age of 7. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe and hip hop. She became a member of the A+ Performers Competition Dance Troupe at the age of 10 where she held various title awards in jazz and lyrical dance. As a teenager she was asked to dance in Paris and made the Universal Dance Association All-Star Team.


Kristin furthered her studies at the Broadway Dance Center and Peridance in New York City where she has worked with some of the top teachers in the area. Furthering her studies even more, Kristin attended Towson University studying ballet, modern, anatomy for dancers, music, dance history, and choreography.


Kristin currently continues to study all aspects of dance by attending various teacher workshops and taking class with teaching greats such as Finis Jhung and Frank Hatchett.


Kristin started teaching at Dancation Studio 5 years ago. Her energetic and lively teaching skills keep students coming back for more as well as her wonderful choreography which has won many awards. She is now the proud owner/director of Dancation Studio where she plans to give all her students the utmost dance education they deserve.


Kristin credits her new ideas and visions to past and present choreographers and teachers she has had the opportunity to work with. Her ideas are to share what she continues to learn with her students.


Classes given by Kristin have proved to be beneficial to students wanting a professional career in dance as well as the recreational student.

Kira Hartman                                                           

Kira has been dancing since age 4 under the guidance of Director Adrienne Kellett. She continued her studies at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Ms. Kira has been teaching at Dancation since 2000 and has taught many children the art of dancing and shows how much fun everyone can have. Her love of dance always comes through in her beautiful dances.

 

Eva Marie Nicholsen
 

Eva began her dancing career at the age of 5. When she became a certified dance instructor, she became a member of the "Dance Educators of America" organization. Ms. Eva has studied and taught ballet, pointe, tap, and jazz to all ages. Eva is currently the head of Dancation's Pre-School program. For many years, she competed in national and regional competitions along with taking classes in New York City.

 

 


Noëlmarie Rossi


A native of New Jersey, Noëlmarie has trained at Princeton Ballet,

STEPS on Broadway, and Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.  Noëlmarie was also a member of the Rutgers Dance Team! Recently performing with Phoenix Productions in Oklahoma at The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, Noëlmarie’s other performance experience includes: Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Six Flag’s Great Adventure, King’s Dominion, Casino Magic, Sesame Street Live (National Tour), PBS Television (National Tour), as well as performing for Norwegian and Celebrity Cruise Lines.

 

Noëlmarie has also taught and choreographed for many years for various studios, competitions, colorguards, and dance camps.  She has also been the choreographer for East Brunswick High School for the last 5 years.

 

Outside of her studio and performing life, Noëlmarie was a nanny for several years, taught pre-school, and is currently the Operations Manager for Peter Lynch Inc., a Financial Planning Firm in Red Bank, N.J.
