Ballet classes focus on classical technique, proper body alignment, placement, and terminology. Each class begins with barre exercises before progressing to center work and more complex combinations across the floor. Dancers refine their technique while developing strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and control. Ballet training builds discipline and artistry while providing a strong technical foundation for other dance styles.
Tap focuses on rhythm, musicality, and intricate footwork as dancers create sounds and patterns with their tap shoes. Through technical exercises, combinations, and choreography, dancers develop precision, clarity of sound, timing, and coordination. Classes also incorporate upper-body movement, dynamics, and performance quality as dancers expand their tap vocabulary and refine their technique.
Jazz is a dynamic style of dance that combines strong technical foundations with expressive movement and performance. Dancers work on leaps, jumps, turns, isolations, and more advanced combinations while developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and musicality. Classes explore a variety of jazz styles, including Broadway and contemporary influences, allowing dancers to refine their technique, challenge themselves, and develop their individual performance style.
Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz technique with expressive, fluid movement. Dancers explore musical interpretation, emotional connection, and storytelling through choreography. Classes focus on refining technique, balance, control, musicality, and artistry while encouraging dancers to communicate through movement and develop their individual expression as performers.
Acro blends dance technique with advanced acrobatic skills, combining flexibility, strength, balance, and tumbling. Using the Acrobatic Arts curriculum, dancers progress through structured training designed to develop proper technique, body control, and safe execution of skills. Classes build on foundational movements while introducing more challenging tricks, transitions, and combinations as dancers develop their strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Hip Hop is a dynamic style of dance rooted in street dance. Dancers explore a variety of styles, grooves, and rhythms while learning detailed choreography set to hip hop music. Classes focus on musicality, coordination, timing, dynamics, and performance quality, encouraging dancers to develop their individuality, confidence, and personal style through movement.
